Zordar Project for ORS and ZINC Promotion | FHI 360 | Chhatarpur, Panna and Tikamgarh Districts (2013) | Organization led this program to increase the uptake of Zn and ORS through increased prescriptions of both Zn and ORS as first line treatment for childhood diarrhea by the RHCPs and ensure a continuous supply of ORS and Zn with the RHCPs and drug stores. The Key objectives are as follows-
· Enumerate all the villages and create a data base of all RHCPs in the four Districts classified into A, B and C categories as per their patient load in the four districts. · Build the capacities of the identified RHCPs and drug stores on disease and product knowledge to increase the prescription and usage of Zn and ORS for treatment of childhood diarrhea in the four districts. · Ensure regular usage and off take on Zn and ORS by the identified RHCPs and drug stores through continuous follow-up and detailing. Worked in close coordination with identified pharmaceutical company/s to ensure supplies of Zn and ORS reach the RHCPs and Drug stores. |
Through this program organization have reached appropriately 1,44,000 families in the districts to secure them from the dangerous effects of Diarrhea which has been correctly treated by Zinc and ORS. Team has worked in collaboration with RHCP for Diarrhea Management. |
Madhya Pradesh Nutrition Program | Care India | Ishanagar,Bijawar,Buxwaha Blocks of Chhatarpur District (2014- | This aims to reduce child malnutrition and help break the cycle of nutritional deficiency in blocks of District Organization drew from its field-tested, proven approaches to systematically create an enabling policy environment for ICDS (Integrated Child Development Services), build trust across sectors, document models and promote convergence. Besides this CARE India is facilitating training and capacity building of government functionaries, promoting safe drinking water, hygiene and sanitation at the household and community levels. | In order to reduce malnutrition, Organization worked with Care India on 4 developed blocks of District. In which PRI representatives have been trained and made aware on malnutrition and also emphasized to link up vulnerable groups with government facilities and focused on their protection and supported 3300 families. |
Axshya Project | EHA | Districts Chhatarpur and Panna (2011- | In order to work in health care, Organization implemented the Axshya project with the financially supported by VHAI and EHA which worked to improve access to quality TB care and control through a partnership between government and civil society. It supported India’s Revised National TB Control Programme (RNTCP) to expand its reach, visibility and effectiveness through Active Case Finding; by engaging community based providers to improve TB services, especially for women, children, marginalized, vulnerable; TB-HIV co-infected populations and support and facilitate Qualified Private Practitioners for TB Notification.
